12.37 The desert village of el'Jazira

The desert village of el'Jazira, located somewhere in the shifting sands of the
great Shaahri desert, is a crude settlement by some urban standards, but is
nevertheless home to a proud and skilled people. The inhabitants, currently
ruled by Sheik Adham el'Salam, are normally a swarthy and hearty lot, much
skilled in various crafts, especially leatherwork. The village is oftentimes
the center of mystery and intrigue, having less clear influences than some of
the other desert habitations.
