9.2.3 Forgetting Professions

If you decide you no longer wish to retain a previous profession you can forget it. If you forget a profession, you will not be able to switch back to it, unless you join a specialized guild or are apprenticed again.

Before you can forget a profession you must switch to another profession or switch to no profession. If you are in a guild which specializes in that profession you must quit the guild. You cannot forget the profession of a guild you are a member of. 

To forget a profession, you have to FORGET <profession> and then AGREE. Once forgotten, you will receive some lessons back, dependent on your rank in that profession.
