The Mercenaries Union has officially come to Imperian.

Located in the Blue Knuckle Ale House near the coliseum, you can find the mercenary board. The board allows for the hiring of adventurers. These 'mercenaries' can travel the lands and recover valuable treasures for you. Once hired, they are your responsibility to train and guide through their careers. In return, they will bring you glory and great rewards.

Keep in mind, it will take gold, lessons, and time to train the best mercenaries. However, the rewards can be great. The more powerful your party, the more difficult adventures they can go on. The more difficult the adventure, the greater the rewards.

You are currently allowed to hire mercenaries and go on basic adventures. We have already coded an entire PvP system for group battle and weekly tournaments. We are holding off on releasing the PvP part of the system until we make sure no bugs are sitting around in the adventuring system. It will also give you a chance to play with the system, level up, and get some basic skills on your mercenaries.

This is a completely optional system for players. However, it will be another way to gather items and rewards that you cannot get any other way. For example, the only way to currently get better ability books (for better mercenary abilities) and equipment is from completing adventures. In addition you will be able to find artifacts, assembly pieces, and other rare items as they progress into more difficult adventures.
