This post is a follow-up to Announce post 3398, and is primarily directed to designs and shop owners.

I gave you all an extra week to renew any designs that may be expired or defunct. All shelfholders for designs that were either Defunct or Expired have now been removed. The item will no longer be for sale in the shop, and will need to be placed back on the shelf should the design be refreshed. A note has been added to the shop log for each shelfholder removed. A total of 3,608 shelfholders were removed from shops. For some shops, this unfortunately does mean the shop log will be full of shelfholder removal. Sorry about that.

I know this is an unpopular change, but it is a necessary one. It was never the intention that a design on a shelf should be a "get out of preservation free" card, and shelf holders sticking around introduced some subtle bugs that need to be cleaned up.
