I close my eyes and picture myself in a beautiful clearing isolated from time, I see you in the far distance the serenity and beauty of this place is no match in comparison to you.

Each forward step I take feels like a climb, my fear of falling away from you is the only thing that rings true.

I lose my grip and I begin to fall, tears falling from my cheeks in remembrance of that lonely day.

A year and a half has passed now and I continue to try to stand tall, just reciting a small prayer to myself in hopes that you feelings have not gone away.

I envision that one day I will reach the peak, to see you standing there gazing in another direction.

My lips would part and I would begin to speak, hoping you would listen and realize that I am no projection.

My heart would begin to flutter, the lightness in my own voice would begin to grow.

The words would effortlessly flow from my nervous lips with not even a stutter, as I profess to you my feelings that I have to show.

One sentence would be first in my queue, a song that we once both listened to.
