Auction Fraud

For the first time in the history of all of the auctions Imperian's held, we've had a problem with people not fulfilling the terms of the bids that they've placed.

If you bid on an item in an auction, you are agreeing to buy that item at the price that you have specified in the bid. If you have the winning bid at the end of the auction, and you do not pay that price, you are committing fraud.

If you conspire with other people during the auction to artificially increase the price of an auction because you no longer wish to fulfill the terms of your original bid, you are committing fraud.

You will be held accountable for any fraud that you attempt to commit in Imperian.

Basically, and I would think that this generally needs to be unsaid, if you bid on something in an auction, make sure you will be able to back up that bid. It doesn't matter if it's the very first bid or the winning bid.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Naturalis, in the year 634 AD.
