8 years ago, Imperian opened its doors to the wide wide world, and we all know now that it was history in the making, as our favorite MUD has had an immensely successful 8 years.

As a small thank-you of my appreciation to those of you who help make Imperian as great as it is, I've given 30 bound credits to anybody who has logged on in the past 30 days.

To help celebrate this momentous occasion, we will be holding our annual Tournament of Ages. Starting next week, a grand contest of skill and luck will kick off. For more information about the schedule of games, please point your web browser to:

To participate in the combat events, you must register your character. You can register only one character in the Body competition of the tournament. This will automatically enter you into the 1v1 solo tournament, which you can opt out of once the brackets are created. To sign up for the tournament, enter the command:

TOURNAMENT REGISTER

Once the tournament begins, you will be assigned into a specific combat tier, based on a number of factors that represent your combat ability, such as: your combat skillranks, your combat artifact, your overall level, and your PK rank.

The number of participants will affect how people will be sorted into tiers, so it is not possible to preemptively inform you what tier you will be competing in. Just pick the character that you would most like to use in the tournament.
