Newbie Area Stuff

Over the next couple weeks we are going to be making several upgrades to all of the newbie areas. Once we are done with the newbie areas, we will be updating all of the existing areas in the game with new quests, mobs, and features.

Here are some changes that are in place today.

We are changing some of the main quest mobs in the areas to be invincible, but they will also not attack back when attacked.

We have created several local landmarks in the newbie areas to allow them to quickly find and walk to the main quest mobs.

There is now a renegade in Lorka'ig who will buy all the corpses from the area. This will eliminate the need to go to Sinikka in Transk.

Black pines has been expanded with more opportunities for hunting; you can kill the refugees of the demonic army for the Defiler just outside the encampment. There are also some new quests, each starting with the commander of a demonic regiment. You can either assist him in returning Otto (leader of the refugees) to the regiment, or work against him with Otto and his mother to end the tyranny of the commander.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Naturalis, in the year 10 AM.
