We have finalized the dates for this year's tournament. We have also made changes to events and rewards. If you are planning on competing, read this entire post, and the associated help files.

Dates: Friday April, 19th, 2013 to Monday April 29th, 2013.

Changes

- I have reduced the number of credits you earn per point from 3 credits to 2 credits.
- We removed the level tiers. No more playing the level thing for combat arena events.

These changes will probably not be super popular, but we have given out far too many credits in this event in the past. Secondly, we are looking for the best fighters when it comes to arena events instead of those who game it for various reasons.

We originally planned a large RP event to run at the same time. This was going to add points and rewards to the tournament. We have decided not to do this, as it would be too much for people to follow.

Instead, we will run the event immediately following the tournament. It will be a large event lasting 10 days. We will probably have prizes and credits that can be earned during this event, but we are still sorting these details, as we have separated it from the main tournament. The event will add permanent content via new mobs, 'boss mobs', area revamps, history, lore, and major permanent quests. The end content is especially targeted for our high level players.
