I've just loaded a quality-of-life buff for the Renascent Armguards. Profession-specific defences (the things that get cleared when you switch professions) are now stored on a profession-by-profession basis for the armguards.

What this means is that if you TWIST ARMGUARDS as a Deathknight to store your weathering, gripping, and shroud defences, those stored records will not disappear when you switch to Summoner. Instead, they will be made dormant until the next time you are a Deathknight. Profession-agnostic defences (things like thirdeye, nightsight, etc.) need only be stored once.

One side effect of this change is that UNTWIST ARMGUARDS will only clear the profession-agnostic defences and those defences which are specific to your current profession.
