Shrine Changes

We've made a few changes to the way shrines work:

* Many more things are now logged in the sect/cult and belief logs.

* If you have CONFIG SHOWXP set to on, it will show you how much XP you need to convert before getting to the next comm.

* Aspects are no longer penalized with 1/10th the XP (sorry about that!).

* Shrine scores now round to the nearest number, not the nearest 10.

* It's now possible to remove relics from a shrine, but this destroys the relic. This is something that only the leader (cults) or his/her designee (sects) can do.

* Only the leader (cults) or her/his designee (sects) can construct shrines now.

* Shrines surrounded by other shrines can no longer be defiled. Your enemies must pick off your outlying shrines first. The exact definition of "surrounded" depends on how close the other shrines are, what level the shrines are, and how many they are. As a baseline, three level four shrines two rooms away from a shrine will prevent the shrine from being defiled.

* This hasn't changed, but is worth noting: shrines give benefits beyond the relics to all sect members depending on the number and level of the shrines. Some benefits apply game wide, others are specific to the areas with shrines. Expand your shrine network wisely! See HELP RELICS for more information on the various relics that you may find throughout the game.

Please keep your feedback coming, and let me know if anything doesn't work!

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
