There has been some confusion because we failed to clarify some of the changes that go along with the change in format.

Along with the change in format to the shorter hunts, the rewards for participation have been changed.

There is now only one threshold for automatic credits, at 100 points. At that point, you earn 10 credits. You can earn this once and only once for the entire competition.

Those that reach rank 1-10 in each phase of the hunt also receive an additional reward. These are awarded for each phase:
- 1st : 150 credits
- 2nd : 100 credits
- 3rd : 90 credits
- 4th : 80 credits
- 5th : 70 credits
- 6th : 60 credits
- 7th : 50 credits
- 8th : 40 credits
- 9th : 30 credits
- 10th: 20 credits

We're almost through the first day of hunts, but they will continue through tomorrow, with the same schedule as they had today:
00:00 - 03:00 GMT
06:00 - 09:00 GMT
12:00 - 15:00 GMT
18:00 - 21:00 GMT

You will also notice we are checking in on you to make sure you are actively paying attention during the hunt. You will see a hard-to-miss block with some instructions in it.
This block will repeat until you ACKNOWLEDGE (or ACK), at which point it will stop repeating. You're expected to follow the instructions within it as well as acknowledging it - this tells us you actually read it, instead of just having a trigger.
