This one is for our designers!

Last year we released Reskin Writs (HELP ARTIFACT RESKINS) with the Halloween event. We promptly stopped doing anything with them. Time to rectify that.

For the month of August we are holding a clockwork design contest for reskin writs.

You may submit a new writ design for any artifact (including token items) in Imperian. To continue with our Engineer theme, the designs must be described as clockwork in nature.


What do you win?

The top three designers will be awarded with 250 credits. All designers will get a special honours line.


How to submit designs
---------------------
Send all submissions to contest@imperian.com with the subject line, "Clockwork Design Contest". Be sure to include your character name in the email.

The deadline for submissions is August 31st.


How many times may I enter?
---------------------------
You may enter as much as you like. If you submit one item or one hundred, we will look at them all. Of course, the more you -quality- designs you submit, the greater your chance of winning. You may submit several in one email or send multiple design emails as you complete them.


What must be submitted?

1. a short description: a faded tent

2. a long description: A faded non-descript grey canvas tent has been pitched here.

3. an extended description: A rugged well oiled canvas protects the space inside of this tent from the weather, and a flap can be firmly closed against trespassers or to ensure privacy. It is dusty and evidently has seen much use, and there are several patches on the exterior.

4. Command words and room descriptions for items that have them. For example, tents have a brief and verbose room description and wings have command words.

You may submit a design for any artifact, however here are the more common items players tend to have:

- Seraphim wings
- Angel wings
- Gem of Transmutation
- Tent
- Ivory Pipes
- Vials
- Stat Artifacts
- Weapon Artifacts
- Money pouch
- Sip rings
