Engineers have arrived.

The Nightingales, Meriwether and Cohham, have compiled a definitive volume of their combined knowledge regarding clockwork contraptions, compounds, firearms, and other inventions. They have submitted their work to the great deans of Aetherius and it has been universally hailed as one of the greatest contributions to mortalkind.

As a result you may now learn the profession of Engineer, along with it accompanying skillsets of Ballistics, Focus, and Inventing. Those who who become master Engineers will become skilled with the flintlock, blunderbuss, and belcher. They will find themselves able to craft incredible new inventions and chemicals for their use.

If you wish, you can learn the arts of the Engineer from one of the Nightingales or from one of the deans spread out across the land (HELP DEANS).

There are many new afflictions and cures you will need to educate yourselves on. Be sure to read the basics in HELP BALLISTICS, HELP FOCUS, HELP INVENTING, and HELP ENGINEERS. Domecap, which is an important curative made by Engineers has been made available at the general store in each city and council until it becomes more readily available.

If you experience any bugs or typos, please report them with the appropriate command.

Good luck, no matter which side of the barrel you find yourself on.

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Naturalis, in the year 153 AM.
