Artifact House Locations

Hello, Imperian,

This post serves as clarification and new ruling regarding the placement of artifact houses purchased and placed via House Tokens.

Already existing restrctions did not allow the house to be placed anywhere that was not generally accessible or had access restrictions. This includes within areas within which portals cannot be placed. In addition, any directional exit that would break the mapping of the area in which it is placed (including overlapping existing exit directions on the map, or overlapping existing rooms on the map) are not allowed.

A new rule now exists, that houses cannot be placed in the areas immediately outside of any citystate. At this time, this includes the following areas:
- the Ithaqua Forest
- the Khandava Forest
- the Western Celidon
- the Shaahri desert
- the Vardarian Highlands

Active characters with houses in these areas will be given a week to message Eoghan requesting a new location for their homes. Inactive or retired characters will have the entrance to their home removed (with a one-way exit leading from their home to Caanae), and the house rooms will be re-flagged to be within Caanae.

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Tenebrae, in the year 207 AM.
