Hello guys, gals, and non-binary pals!

We are now taking applications for mortal builders. Before you get too excited, make sure you read this post in its entirety!

We are not planning to create or release new areas in the near future. Mortal Builders that come on board will instead be given the opportunity to take up small tasks such as individual item or room descriptions, at the behest of members of the administration. For example, you may be asked to write a new description for vialpacks, because Eoghan is not always creative.

The mechanism for this is a job board that any approved mortal builder may view and from which they may take jobs, with payment at the completion of the job based on the difficulty and performance.

If you think you're a fit for this role, please send an email to eoghan@imperian.com including:
Your real name
Your real age
A list of your character(s) in Imperian, noting on which you would like to be a builder
Your current or past volunteer positions in any IRE games (including Imperian)
Several examples of item and room descriptions that you think exemplify your writing style. Some possible prompts (though you are not required to use them) include:
a description for a vialpack (item)
a description for a dolphin (mob)
a description of "a seaside chalet" (room)
a description of "a sparse clearing in the forest" (room)

Like all volunteer positions, builders are anonymous.
