Hello Imperian!
For the spookiest of months, we have a couple events and promotions, including
one that hasn't been seen in some years.
> First, we are bringing back apple bags, which have only been randomly obtained
from phylacteries since 2015. You will receive a crystalized apple for every
100 credits purchased from the website. The first 100 credits will also reward
you with an applebag, to hold all your apples!
We have, however, upgraded a few of the apples' effects, for all current and
future apples, as follows:
- Bruised (#10) apples now turn exits to rubbles for 60 seconds, in addition to
hiding the exits as before.
- White (#12) apples now give 10% resist to mobs, but remain 5% against players
for 10 minutes.
- Pink (#20) apples now refresh health, mana, endurance and 25% reserves. It
used to only refresh health.
HELP APPLES has all the details and has been updated accordingly.
> Second, the enormous pumpkin is opening its...opening once more. It can be
found IN from v29329 on the Living Mountain. You can find various games to play
and wares to purchase. If you're interested in the games, seek out Garth at the
entrance!
This year once more, the individual with the most points at the end of the
month will become Sovereign of the Night. They will be awarded a new, unique,
artifact crown (as in HELP ASSEMBLY). This crown is different than last year's!
> Third, you may purchase reskin writs for 20 doubloons each. You can read more
about these in HELP ARTIFACT RESKIN. There aren't a lot of these still, but
there are a bunch of Halloween-themed ones! See ARTIFACT RESKIN HALLOWEEN.
> Last, but certainly not least, the dreaded Pumpkin King returns this month,
if you aren't too scared to face them! Here's how it works:
Denizens will occasionally drop essence, which if enough are collected will
attract a Jester to sneak up on you. Killing the Jester will award you a
pumpkin seed which you can PLANT. Once the seed has grown into a pumpkin, you
may kill it to get a mask out of it.
Jesters also have a chance to drop crates, costume fragments, or special
Halloween items. Costume fragments are guaranteed if nothing else drops.
Wear this mask, and you can then SUMMON THE PUMPKIN KING. The first time you
land the killing blow on the Pumpkin King any time this month will award you
with 100 bound credits.
