Over the course of the past few months, the wanderer now known as Kvand has made his presence known to many. He set a course for the city of the Five Towers, keeping a respectful distance all the while. He spoke to several citizens, keeping up a light and pleasant conversation. He seemed interested in the Bards of Kinsarmar and their performances and in their instruments. He spoke of a casual acquaintance with Lyridae, the Journeyman. Despite his charismatic persuasions a few remained skeptical of his presence and imposed limitations on his freedom within the city. He departed without incident shortly thereafter.

Lyridae the Journeyman, a well-known tutor of the Bards, spoke with his guild, explaining how he knew Kvand in their youth. The young Kvand was arrogant and impatient, often in trouble for his lack of sincerity and focus. Lyridae explained that they only studied together a short time, for Kvand ended his scholarship and disappeared. The Journeyman was disdainful of Kvand, and intimated that he should not be trusted.

Meanwhile back in Ithaqua...

The Bonecasters have concluded that Kvand is not a mere mortal. An accord was reached between several that the Wanderer is not merely a traveler upon the land but a Walker, one who moves between the layered realms of the world. Through the insight of several honorable Ithaquans, a priestess of Anhir and Relg Bonecaster, it was determined that this wandering is eerily reminiscent of the great Troubler.

This wanderer has taken for his own residence the Blue Temple, the once sacred home of the Fallen Goddess. This has caused great concern. Kvand seems to be seeking and gaining information and power that allows him free reign in the Underworld, Rashirmir and the Spiritual realms.

There are intrigues layered with mystery. Many involved in this drama have yet to share their knowledge, and others still have lied about their involvement. Kvand the Wanderer does not appear to be the only consummate liar in this tale...
