After years of war, Gruarg and his lieutenants came up with the perfect plan. They gathered their resources and had Rout create a few bombs, carefully placing them each in a nicely wrapped gift. The presents were delivered by a "willing" villager to key-note members of towne, especially their matron Sinikka.

Sinikka, being the suspicious woman she is, did not accept the gift and headed off to discover what was going on. As she was making her way through towne she heard the calls of Gruarg, warning all who could hear to leave his towne at once. When she refused he set off the bombs, blowing the towne and most of its citizens up.

As the survivors of the explosions made their way through the forest a massive beast fell down on them, devouring any who stood in his way. Only a few were able to get to the farmhouse, and are now holding their grounds in hope to retake the village from Transk.
