Echoing through the eaves, the trees whispered their sorrow and worry
for a distressed forest-dweller somewhere in the wilderness. Their
whispers soon reached the ears of the High Priestess of Nature, Caitlin
Ruadh Calamus and her son, Adrinor Ruadh and their companion Mookie
Iolar as they strolled through the Council of Khandava. Worried for the
safety of the young girl, Caitlin quickly saught the forsight of a loyal
nymph enchantress who used her mind to tap into the powers of Nature to
aid the High Priestess. Placing her hands upon a nearby tree the nymph
began to talk with the forests, and soon discovered that a young forest
girl had been swept into a river and needed help fast. Caitlin and her
companions rushed across the countryside to Lake Ildsam, though not
finding any sign of the young girl. They ventured further west into the
Sienna Forest where they heard muffled screams coming from the Eucrates
River. They rushed to the river banks and into the river and dragged her
ashore and bundled her in blankets to keep her warm.

When the young girl had regained her breath and strength, she was able
to share with her saviours that she was the Princess Rina, of the
Alovyan Amazons. She then playfully led her new found friends through
the Sienna Forest to her hidden village and guided them through the
undergrowth and into the boundries of her village. Hesitant on allowing
her male saviour, Adrinor to enter, she first sought out her Mother, the
Queen of Alovyan and told her of her perils and how the three had saved
her life, the Queen sent word to her sisters of the Village to allow
Adrinor to pass, while Rina returned to her new friends and gave them
the great news.

Rina led Caitlin, Mookie and Adrinor to her mother, who expressed her
greatest thanks to them for saving her only daughter, and told the
travellers that they were welcome into the village at any time, and that
her guards would welcome them always as friends.

Amazons have always been know to be strong woman who hated men, does
this mark a new era for the Alovyan woman, or will men always be
despised?
