A great living mountain made itself known on the 21st day of Artificium in the year 60 AM, due to turmoil of its residence. For years the gargoyles, asuwan, and xiur lived in peace, until this day, when the Patriarch of the asuwan turned on the Matriarch and her guardian, Melkree the gargoyle.

When Norrix, the Patriarch, took it upon himself to rid his wife, Niall, of her guardian by shattering her into several pieces and tossing her remnants over Aetherius, Niall met his force with her own, ripping his head from his shoulders. Unfortunately, it takes a little more than that to kill the Patriarch of the asuwan, allowing him to escape back to the mountain, and sending her back to her place within its heart.

Norrix now roams the mountain, haunting his wife, the gargoyles, and the xiur, hoping to restore himself to his former glory, and take over the mountain.

Niall is looking to weaken her husband, allowing her to kill him, while Erodral, the Head Chieftain of the xiur, wishes to bind him to the mountain, knowing this will keep him from raising back to fight. Meanwhile, Remmington, the head excavator, wishes to see the war continue, giving him time to mine the mountain for its minerals and take over.

Several came to the mountain when Niall called out, among those were: Iroth, Pellerine, Ozreas, Ayanna, Celestine, Kunew, Mercer, Ultrix, Aleutia, Kanthari, Calais, Iniar, and Arielle.

Who will you choose to help? What will happen if Norrix is restored? Will Niall get the assistance she needs to destroy him once and for all? Only time will tell.
