Nearly a month after the Dwarves of Kaark'Krazul had agreed to keep
their gates open, what they feared most would happen did. The Orcs that
many years ago they fought across the mountains have returned, seeking
vengeance. With them they bring many Miners, and their leader Onkassus
has even managed to convince Groar to change tribes to aide him. A
mighty force, the dwarves were beginning to fear they had made a
terrible, terrible mistake.

Quickly the fighting elevated to a fullscale war, and many were slain
within the early days of the seige. Countless times an Alliance of
peoples from almost all walks of life slew Onkassus and his minions,
only to have them spring to life once again, ready to fight. After some
time, however Groar did lose his power and some headway was made. The
Alliance managed to work its way into the city of Kaark'Krazul, and both
sides of the war revealed their plot.

The dwarves revealed that orcs wish to sturdy the mines against their
engineering, so they may make a straight attack into the heart of the
city unopposed by dwarven traps. Nek Deepsmith, an Elder of the Dwarves
further went on to explain that they could handle the orcs.. but the
cost would be too dire. To close the mines would kill all of the dwarves
with starvation within mere months. Stopping the ogre miners from
finishing their task was of the utmost importance.

Both sides also explained their common weakness, they are undersupplied.
They both need old sets of weapons and armor they may use to recraft
tools for their own forces. It has yet to be seen which side will become
better supplied, though the dwarves seem to have an early head start
using a very large collection of weapons and armor donated on the spot
by the allies.
