It's been said that boys will be boys and Kappa, the gypsy boy of
Stavenn is no different. Disregarding his mother's words not to venture
outside of the city, he found himself amidst such a large group of
spiders that his little slingshot was not nearly enough.

As he ran back to Stavenn to alert people, he ran into Juganothion and
Iriaen just outside the gates. It seemed the spiders had wandered this
far and were spinning webs, perhaps in hopes of catching themselves some
bigger prey? While Juganothion and Iriaen dealt with these arachnid with
ease, Kappa was rambling on about more spiders running the hills, he
claimed they were huge and scary!

The strange looking siylds were particularly a nuisance and before long
those two, along with Erana set out to try and find the source. Pushing
their way through webs and dealing with this sudden invasion of spiders,
these three soon found themselves deep in a gorge full of spiders and
webs. Living amidst these arachnid is an unusual duo, Deluka who seems
to specialize in finding new wasy to make these critters tasty and
Emvton, a somewhat harried dwarf intent on manipulating the properties
of their venoms in hopes of one day becoming rich.

Iriaen and Juganothion did not seem overly amused with the idea that
these spiders might be trying for bigger game and spinning their webs so
close to Stavenn and ordered Emvton to find a way for the webs to be
removed, or find safer ground as they ensured Emvton they would burn out
the threat. After acquiring some of the spiders and dissecting them for
their more deletable parts, Emvton provided them with a potion that
could dissolve the webs, allowing them to clear the road of the spiders'
webs, but made no promises in regards to the many arachnid swarming the
gorge.
