As the unwaivering heat in the desert city finally breaks, so breaks the
spirit of yet another Stavennite. Toby Pyralis, a long standing member
of the Wytchen, sought reprisal within the desert city for his dark
past. Last Solis, year 554 AD, Kira Ashtear asked the Protector to
assist Toby in removing a mark from the Insane One, and the Lady Shallah
to heal him from the ordeal.

Once the divinities consented - since only a Divine can even attempt to
remove the mark of another Divine - Toby and the followers of both the
Peace Lady and Lord Vahin were brought to the Lamiran Garden, along with
several nearby Antiochians. As Toby kneeled before the two powerful
beings, Draven Acerbus and Khizan Vladin held him from squirming or
moving when he inevitably fell to weakness.

The Just God spoke to Toby, judging his past and his intentions for the
future. Promising pain for his misdeeds, and the lies he had confessed,
yet salvation for if he remained conscious. As Lord Vahin sliced out the
marking along his stomach, Kira Ashtear removed the taint found within,
and Toby leaned helplessly against the arms of Khizan and Draven.

Once the pain the mortal felt had peaked, Lady Shallah's much gentler
hands took control of the situation. Joining together those present, She
healed Her newest follower of his past associations with the assistance
of all in attendance, except Khizan who resolutely crossed his arms.
Nearly suffocating Toby with Her dragonflies, She turned Lord Malkav's
mark into a careful reminder of his past, and the promises of his
future.
