I am quite certain that as a result of posting this, I will be made
sport on the forums and ring tells. That's just fine. I recognize that
this is not the place to post, but then, there aren't any other options
for me.

I would just like to point out that all of you have been born so that
nothing major is wrong with you (major being the operative word). I find
it distasteful when you lot use the word 'retarded' and 'retard.' This
happens cross-circle, and all the time.

I am currently working with people IRL who have more disadvantages than
most of you will ever comprehend. They struggle and are heroes to those
of us who bother to acknowledge their humanity and their struggle.

In the future, perhaps each of you should reconsider your choice of
words. I am not one to shy from four letters words or inflammatory
words, regardless of what your perceptions of my characters may be.
These particular words however not only do disservice to the people who
struggle every day simply because they are not 'normal,' but also are
offensive to those of us who choose to spend some of our time working
with special needs children.

The bottom line? The only people who appear 'mentally deranged' or
'damaged' are those of you using these words.

Please reconsider the implications of the words you chose.
