Serenity

Amme, the player behind Serenity passed away tonight as a result of
extensive injuries caused by a motorcycling accident. I am having a very
hard time writing this, so please bear with me. Just as I was starting
my Senior year in High School in Henderson, Nevada, the most amazingly
beautiful girl moved in next door. She was an Army Brat, and very proud
of that fact. We became best friends almost immediately, and soon after
much more. Amme was painfully shy. She would rarely speak in a tone
above a quiet whisper to new people or strangers. She was amazingly easy
to embarass. When she was embarrased, slowly a red blush would move from
under her eyes, quickly consuming her cheeks, and soon after her entire
face. She was eternally at war with herself. She was gay, something that
she was very proud of most of the time. She was also one of the most God
loving people I have ever met. She had unshakable faith in a loving,
caring, all forgiving God. Unfortunately, she was never able to
reconsile her version of God with her sexuality. She was also wrestling
with her public persona, a personality she formed and adopted in order
to function and work, and her real self. She was happiest always when
she was alone in her thoughts, or surrounded my those closest and few
friends, or when she was playing games, like this one. She had a huge
fondness for all the online games, they let her be her true self without
fear of judgement or recimination. I am very grateful to all of you here
for being so kind to her, and for welcoming her in to your world. I only
knew Amme for fourteen years, and was madly in love with her for
thirteen and a half of those years. My biggest single regret is that
although I always kept her close to me, and tried my best to keep her
safe and sane, that I did not tell her enough how much I cared and loved
her. I hope, sincerely, that none of you will have this feeling. Amme
was a proud and wonderful woman, and I hope that somehow she will live
on in this world. We are having a small service here on Tuesday, March
08. Should any of you want me to read something for you, a prayer, a
thought, anything at all, please message them here, and I will print
them all and read them at the service. Thank you, Isabelle Maloney

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
