A New Beginning

One magical sound,
in the night so dark.
A beautiful noise,
which lighted a spark.

It was a melodic note,
of which I heard.
This mesmerizing voice,
sweeter than any bird.

A soulful tune,
sang out to me.
Telling me to move forward,
to set myself free.

This musical song,
took over my heart.
It was what I had searched for,
from the very start.

Me name is Trystan,;and welcome my dear.
It was with these words,
that it all became clear.

A smile on my face,
I entered the room.
Upon seeing a man,
You are Trystan I assume?

"That I am my sweet,;let me show you my way."
He picked up a flute,
and began to play.

We journeyed over mountains,
and across rivers and lakes.
Through seasons and time,
via sucess and mistakes.

When it was all over,
he took my hand in his.
Looked into my eyes,
and whispered "and your decision is?"

Although it was hard,
I left the past behind.
Because with him laid my future,
to be with others of my kind.

So this is the end,
of my tale which is told.
For life as a Bard,
is what my future holds.

And so it begins...

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Ultio, in the year 411 AD.
