Lives in the life that I breathe
And i'd walk but a mile in my own shoes
To realize that it's true
And revel in how much further
I have come
With the promise of you

The essence of you
Enthralls and soothes my wild, spirited ways
And it was hope in love I thought I'd lose
Yet marveling, it's begun anew
and all dreams lost and forgotten
I finally found
In the essence of you

......

The presence of you
Brightens my soul to bring a smile
And who'd have thought it was a friend I'd choose
Whom all along beside me grew
And no one truly understands how
I feel beautiful
Near the presence of you
