Man has never yet understood the beauty
Of woman
Nor has he been able to comprehend
Her thoughts
We are so different to be one race
Of people
Our problems are all the same, yet we suffer
In different ways
The complexity of it all is bewildering
To me
I marvel and stand amazed
Without answer
Would that man could his secret impart
To tell
The truth of it all and how it fits
Together
May the gods bless me with this wisdom
I ask
With a humble heart and a zeal to know
This mystery
Our partnership on this planet is all
But forgotten
By those who are ignorant of our beginnings
In love
Indeed, may the gods bless me with forgotten wisdom
Of yore
And help me to use it
For them
And for the sake of my fellow (Wo)Man
