This water's just so dirty..
Tainted under circumstances unknown.
It just seems so fitting though,
That I should rest my filthy heart here.

No rain comes to wash this place,
Nor can the sun dry it up.
I sit here, in a world unto myself,
Created by others, hand in hand.

Oh, i'd love to meet the one,
Who crafted right and wrong.
The ones, who gave form..
To emptiness in a heart.

Aren't we all but toys,
Placed on a location?
Told to act, by what we can't control,
And made to obey, by feelings we cannot deny.

Seperate man from beast,
But never beast from man.
Blood flows, and veins pump,
Through the most domineering organ of all.

I've still got this puddle though,
Images to reflect, and a smile to draw.
They were darker, dirtier times..
Yet, it all seemed so clear..
