Learn to appriciate
That which we need not see.
Learn to converse
With which does not speak.
Learn to listen
To the golden silence.
Then fill my mind
With golden words
To make my silver lining
That much more lustrous.
You make my half whole
My thoughts compose
Whenever you're around
But I need not speak them.
You make food taste better
And my thoughts sweeter
You're all I need
My lovely oatmeal cookie.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Bellum, in the year 429 AD.
