Slowly, my spirit walked through their marble halls
Silently, my footsteps produced a haunting call
The stone felt cool beneath my naked feet
As I thought of my Father, I began to weep
I once dined here with my brothers and my friends
Ghosts of the past whispered, "It wasn't suppose to end"
I rested my hand upon the closest pillar of stone
Closed my eyes and thought of how I was alone
Innocent I was, but no one would care to listen
A violet light touched my tears, causing them to glisten
In this hall, my soul and name shall always stand
Even though they try to strike it down with their hand
My soul quivered with light, and tears fell to the ground
They think I weep over positions and riches that had me bound
I knelt to caress the cool marble with my withered hand
Take from me my title, my positions, and my land
Those things did not bind me here or caress my heart
It was the friends I lost, that still breaks me apart
I lowered myself onto the marble steps, cool upon my cheek
My soul soon found peace and closing my eyes I did sleep
The violet light that touched my tears, caressed my dreams
Softly it whispered to me, "Nothing my dear, is as it seems"
Those whispers caused me to wake, they turned my mind
I realised that there was nothing left here on which to dine
I picked myself up and brushed the dust from my gown
Slowly I turned, gazing again at the marble halls around
The spirits of my brothers formed in the mist that appeared
They surrounded me with their arms, caressing away my tears
Taking my pain away from me, while holding me near
They whispered "Our Pearl, to us you are so dear"
We left their marble halls while our spirits merged into one
Now we conquer new things together, for that is done
