(This was a collaboration of sorts)

Cold rainy Sunday afternoon
Wind howls through the trees,
through my soul
as I gaze out the window
With weary arms
I do prop myself,
Through failing vision
I do see
My heavy heart
drums a melancholy beat
my mood is as grey
as the storm
Writhing inside of me
My own self loathing
I see myself
Transparently through the glass
the dark reflection
of my tortured self
confronts me, challenges me,
with it's truth

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Artificium, in the year 431 AD.
