Trilogies

We dance upon the midnights blue
Where darker halves come unbroken twos
And stars fall from Shallah's tears
Where tokens of hearts create our mirrors

And we are the drifting pair of threes
Where once was one forever shall there be
And spirits that rise upon our lips
Blessed with lily poisoned finger tips

And in such we find our truths
One passed broken and other too
With such things we now beseech
Words neither spoken or released

Where the darker moons dance
Revolving about an odd romance
With one passed the other and not too far
Away they flee on a heavenly march

With spring already gone
And frozen air's chilly song
We are fools of the different sorts
Not of our hands but of the retorts

So tell me dearest blind men at my sides
Of prophecies yet seen and deaf's quiet lies
Of loud drums that beat in my ears
And the touch of poison in these tears

Where once there walked threes
Of men, of women, of me
Something kin to a eulogy
But nothing more than a trilogy

Something like
Cacophony.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Naturalis, in the year 436 AD.
