Awkwardness

Written by: Child of the Wood, Kaliee, Wildling

Addressed to: Everyone

As we regrouped in the forests blend
Birds singing and natures beauty surrounding us
We set forth upon another journey
A journey of friendship, peace and understanding

A journey that felt sure to come to an abrupt end
Life wasn't quite as we knew it
For beyond the forests dwelling
Was the real world we had kept ourselves from

We kept ourselves from it for so long
For fear of hurt, rejection and malice
But even between ourselves we had troubles
Love affairs ending, friends betraying

Outcasted into the dark of night
We searched for somewhere we belonged
But found nowhere but in each others hearts
Did we belong the greatest

With hands held in each others
Bonds carried beyond any other
Of friendship, love, loyalty
They had found the perfect place

Wherever they roamed, as long as they were together.

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Solis, in the year 437 AD.
