A love so blinding

Cherished between you and I
A feeling so strong, it made us blind
The light shown from our hearts
Joining as one

As our life continued the light grew stronger
Each passing day it could do no more
It slowly started to fade
As it became a dim mist across the horizon

I wanted to feel this forever
And so many times I wished to tell you
Exactly how I had felt
But my voice betrayed me

Now that there is no chance to relive it again
I find the strength to stand up and say it
I love you, and forever I will
For you are what makes me whole
