Moving on

Written by: Gelf Vuh'uni, Terra Studio

As time flew by, like the birds in the sky
It grew and soared, to limits unkown

To be cherished and cared for
For life and love

And in one instant
Have it drift away

What we once had is now no longer
Whether you care or not

I cannot bare it
so I say this now,

Our friendship is over.

We now lead different lives
Torn apart by the people around us

Feeling of no other option
Then to let it rest

The pages of the book that were once filled
With the glorious tales and the time we shared

The love we felt and how much we cared
Now blank as the darkness of the night

No more can I stand to be in your presence
Your ego bursting at the seams

When I first met you, you were fragile and quiet
Shy and cute in your own little ways

Together we worked to open you up to the world
And every day since, I have regretted my doings

For what you've become is not the person I once loved
Nor the person who I shared this friendship with

You have become what I never hoped you'd be
A flirtacious, egotistical, typical male

One who is only out for himself....

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Aequitas, in the year 438 AD.
