Soliloquy

Written by: Egerian Peacewalker, Anillya Grey, Wildling of Merrowen
Date: Tuesday, July 20th, 2004
Addressed to: Everyone

Broken heart lies beneath stone
Touched by mercury's tones
While Venus and Mars dance in joy
With the moons left to speak their story

Silence extends its painful touch
To lay still upon this month
And those beyond which have yet to pass
On statues of what is last

Seconds and moments count the tears
Like a war of bloodied spears
Battling the heart to cry in hope
But still quietude holds true to this unwritten tome

They fall, Venus first and Mars soon to come
With nothing more than a word
They crash into the depths of each others arms
Only speaking half truths

Where the Moon and Sun dance as one
Courting the stars in their song
There shall she be found
In praise of the winds she will speak

And only in their names
Shall she remain.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Fas, in the year 439 AD.
