A Sister's Lament

Written by: The Pearl, Ellarynth Lokrien, Guardian of the Dryads
Date: Saturday, September 18th, 2004
Addressed to: Everyone

He was a mortal, a glorious man, created unique by the Divine for all to
see.
A soul to bless the stars, as he did my heart, before being taken from
me.
The strength of a thousand redwoods stood at his back, forever lending
him their aide.
Comfort, security, and peace, I always found deep within his shade.
Forever a sorrow, found within my eyes, lamenting his silence.
I would suffer everything, ending my life, if only I could recapture
those moments.
So little did you see of the greatness, compassion, and perfection in
his soul.
Barren my heart has become, praying for an end once my pains were told.

My dear brother I wish you could read these words, for you would bring
me comfort and ease away my sorrows as you always did. I only pray that
the Gods will now grant my heart a small amount of peace away from the
pain. Not a moment will pass that you slip from my thought, and there
you will forever exist, safe from all others. I love you Luthyr. May a
star always shine brightly in memory of you.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Letum, in the year 444 AD.
