Dead, but not resting

Defeated by the horrid orc hordes
A Hero was then reborn
Eyes red like the Maiden's Wrath
He slowly stood up once again
No - He couldn't die - Until his family and beloved ones were avenged.
As the Hero pointed his sword's tip to the sky, and then to the enemy
troops,
Others woke up from the Eternal Sleep, just like himself.
Marching in unison, armed with wood, fire and steel,
Not only a bit of pain they would feel
When the hordes broke and slashed their limbs.
Yet, they courageously battled the foes, and acheived the victory.
One by one, they would now die in peace, for everything has an end
Their bodies sinking in the quicksand. And this is how this tale ends.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Naturalis, in the year 444 AD.
