Lost

Please, tell me it'll go away?
Please, tell me the pain will lessen.
Lost, confused...
She didn't believe..
Through the hurt, the words, it's still there.
Every time I pass some landmark
I'm reminded..

Why can't I let go? Why can't I move on?
Like the ocean tide, she came to me.
I made a promise, I didn't break.
She didn't believe, and is gone..
Years may pass, time will move on.
Will the pain remain?

I would give it all up for a moment back in time.
But I can't move back, and I can't move on.
So I stand lost, wishing to be found.
