To be bold, for once..

Written by: La'Athien Arlith Fel'Amrit, Lamnia Nam Iustitia

You've finally recognized me.
I've come to you, told how I've felt,
For your forgiveness, before you, I've knelt.

Have I finally proven my honesty?
With ink and parchment, I wrote of my love,
Wrote words that were sent to you by a dove.

Are those small kisses the only things we'll share?
One night, I told you, that I made you smile,
And you were amazed, astonished, that it was me all the while.

Can we get over all of these problems?
I dwell upon the past,
Though my heart remains steadfast.

Will it last?
I believe that love can last from birth to death,
From the first.. to the last.. breath.

You asked me not to curse us.
I would never do such a thing,
Though to say we'll never be separated makes my heart sing.

In privacy, you probably expected these words.
But my love for you can only continue to grow,
And now.. I want the whole world to know.

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Bellum, in the year 460 AD.
