Reflections

Years have passed since that first kiss
That first touch that drew me to you.
Years have passed since I uttered my love
Paniced, striken, saddened..
Replaced by joy and love with a simple touch

Absence, they say makes the heart fonder.
Absence, made me reflect, to memorize
each moment
Absence has only made me miss you more.
Our pups growing, my love has not dwindled.

The moments to hear your voice, whispered
The moments to feel your touch, remembered
All of it, my darling wife, I hold dear
To hunt by your side, to listen to your words.
Even when we fought, I knew you loved me.
I never feared losing you..
Know I love you..and will reflect upon our time.

Forever yours,

Larkin

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Artificium, in the year 463 AD.
