A twinkle of light;
A glitter like stars.
Behind those eyes
I see my heart.

A gentle shimmer;
A glimmer of hope
My heart beats with passion;
And I feel I can't cope

My body does ache;
My soul it does burn.
My heart yerns for you
And all that you are.

A fading image;
A declining glow.
My faith has been shattered;
My mind has been blown.

I wait for you now;
I wait for your touch.
I wait for you to love me;
I wait to much.

And now you are back;
My heart it does flutter.
My lips they are cracked;
and my words do but stutter.

My hope has returned;
My life is complete.
