A Big Hairy Orc

There once was a big hairy orc,
Who thought he could learn how to dance.
He practiced all day, 'til his cares went away.
He was sure to leave nothing to chance.

A pheasant who lived in the forest,
Came proudly walking by.
He jumped back in fright, at the unpleasant sight,
Of a big hairy orc gone awry.

The orc took a bow as he finished.
The pheasant seemed glad he had ceased,
'Cause he turned up his nose, in an arrogant pose,
And scuttled away to the east.

But the big hairy orc would not quit.
He pushed himself day after day,
'Til finally it seemed, he was somewhat esteemed,
And some learned to like the display.

Now the pheasant strongly protested,
"You should live as a fighter, like me!"
He leaped through the air, with grace and with flair,
Then bit the poor orc on the knee.

The orc looked down with a smirk,
As he rubbed away the pain.
With a thunderous sound, he then stomped on the ground,
Near the pheasant who acted in vain.

The pheasant replied with disgust,
"I could have been killed, you dork!"
He spun on his toes, with his wings in a pose,
And again, bit the big hairy orc.

So the two went their own separate ways.
Their blindness may seem so unreal,
But it could just be, that you do not see,
What the orc and the pheasant reveal.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Naturalis, in the year 467 AD.

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
