Farewell

Written by: Wayward Angel, Airamaya d'Treune-Cridhe, Autumn Tears
Date: Sunday, October 16th, 2005
Addressed to: Everyone

Each step bearing me further away
One word, "Goodbye", my only hearts torment
"To be forgotten is a fate worse than death"
Words that make me wish I could simply say no
But our love just was never meant

To live a life of unrequited love
It to know death each and every day
"I wish I met you sooner"
Words spoken in the past meant for the past
Never for me and only gotten in the way

Marriage and responsibility bind your emotions
Living a life day to day, with duty as your mistress
"One day passion will be free."
Smithing, stocking, pretentions all around
Until your eyes are opened you will never see

Life could have been spent
Never to see the light of day
"A blessing in disguise I know"
but with each life, roads you must choose
And live without regrets either way

Filled with regrets mine must end
Starting anew with memories fresh
"True love forever will keep"
Hoping and wishing for what is best
To the last we can only hope for what we wish

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Ferinus, in the year 475 AD.
