The Woman at Rythanis

Wandering, was I,
Through field and road and stream.
I chanced upon a place out of a dream,
The house of Rythanis.

Within the house of healing mirth
And salves to sooth the soul;
I came upon a Llamira fair
Who had beautiful flaxen hair.

Her eyes sparkled with a beautiful light
That would shine with the ferocity of might
When battle drew, she would have no fear
I wish to hold her dear.

I spoke with the shy and raidient maiden
I asked her lovely name.
She told me, but ere my memory
Has erased it to this day.
As my brother approached and guided me out
I waved farewell to my dear.
Hoping to again see her face
But in the realms I have not seen her.

Here's to you, maiden fair
Who waited in Rythanis, do I dare?
Find me, love me, my Llamirian queen
It is you I wish to see.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Ferinus, in the year 478 AD.
