Victoria

From a gnarled tree
I'd give gold to see
Your pretty head dangle
But you were at least
Pretty good company

The dark night faded
You left me feeling jaded
Drowning in torrential love
In the desert's uncompromising hatred
As we created

I caught a star
And bound your soul far
Within depths of me
Part of your spirit became
We that are...

Loved as her loss
A sacrifice was the cost
A beautiful wonder
She my fatherless gypsy, Victoria
(So this is)

(A poor attempt)

Thankyou.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Tenebrae, in the year 479 AD.
