An Ancient Rhyme- The Requiem of Revelation

By Hyato Llor'on

The city burns her walls are torn
A marching horde, it nears
The flames consume us in their scorn
We cry for help yet no one hears
The orcish have come, black teeth born
And so brought forth our final tears

My brothers and allies nowhere to be found
The heroes lie slain in the street
One by one we hit the ground
The thunderous drums, they roar defeat
A sea of fallen, no living sound
The mighty beastmens' mighty feat

So here I lay beneath the sky
The broken sword of Father at my side
I will not deny it the time is nigh
The fear is gone I cannot hide
This body fading, I am soon to die
Though in Death I serve, the honor, the pride

The Requiem of Revelations

- In honor of those who ascended in the fall of Caanae.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Vita, in the year 479 AD.
