I stand upon the border, vast and eternal
Purity of Light on one side, upon the other darkness and desires carnal

Upon this border lies the fallen, of those who perished for the cause
they faught,

The light eternal, sweet and pure, the darkness eternal, harsh and stark


Ever always, the beckon comes

For the souls of sentinals to turn and run
abandon their post for desires unnamed
and lose themselves, to evil untamed


But as I stand upon the border, gazing deep into the darkness before me,
I see the light I guard behind, and the truth for which I stand
I refuse the beckon of the darkness, and all the lies it shows
I shall not leave my post, nor abandon those I love, to all of evils
blow
